Steve Brooks has more than 20 years of experience managing enterprise business applications. Most of his professional career has been at Hardin Construction Company in Atlanta, Georgia, where he currently oversees the company's business systems. Steve has been an active member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)since 1998.
He has served continuously on the AITP Atlanta Board of Directors in various capacities since 1999, including chapter president in 2001, and he currently serves as the Atlanta chapter treasurer. Steve has also continuously served on the AITP Region 7 Board of Directors since 2005. He served as treasurer, vice president and is the current Region 7 president. In his spare time, Steve enjoys golf, genealogy and sudoku, and he is an active member in his church. Steve resides in Douglasville, Georgia, with his wife, Donna. Their daughter, Sarah, is attending Georgia Southern University.
