Akshay Shrivastava
Director, Mobile & Connected Devices, at Turner Broadcasting System INC

Akshay ShrivastavaAkshay runs a product development group focused on building consumer facing mobile products for Turner’s media & entertainment brands – CNN, NBA, TBS, Cartoon Network, to name a few.  In this role, he also manages a rapidly evolving technology roadmap & partnerships to stay ahead of the curve on emerging devices & standards.  His most recent interests include HTML5 based multi-touch experiences and disruptive startups in iTV.

Prior to receiving his MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University in 2011, Akshay worked in the wireless & mobile technology space for more than a decade in different industry verticals ranging from carrier to healthcare & government.  He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, India.

Akshay lives in Atlanta GA with his wife and two kids.  He is an aspiring connoisseur of food & music, and loves traveling, trail running and gadgets.
