Everett Washington: Norfolk Southern

Everett Washington has over 20 years experience in information technology, including information security, enterprise architecture and software development. He is currently the Director of Technology Solutions for WAE Services Corp, responsible for developing and implementing integrated solutions for government agencies and large enterprises.  

Before joining WAE Services Corp, Everett was an independent consultant working on such initiatives as HSPD-12 for the US Department of Health and Human Services, DIACAP methodology for US DoD and Positive Train Control for the Association of American Railroads. Prior to starting his consulting career, Everett spent 10 years in the USAF leading the Information Assurance team at the Air Force Network Operations Center during his final tour.

Everett has a BS in Information Systems from Regents University. He holds a number of industry and vendor certifications including CISSP, CCSP, SANS GIAC and FISMA.  

Haddon Bennett: Equifax

Haddon Bennett, Equifax Global Security VP, Information Security with a discipline in Security Architecture/Engineering.

Haddon's work history includes The Home Depot, Vigilar, and Interland. Haddon joined Equifax in Fall of 2006 as leader of Security Engineering. His team is currently responsible for security strategy, leading security technology implementations globally, M&A due diligence and integration, security advisement services, and application assessment/penetration team.

Linda Meinzer: Autotrader.com

Linda Meinzer is the Manager of Information Security and Fraud Prevention at AutoTrader.com.  She is responsible for managing Information Security Programs such as Security Awareness, Security Patch Management Governance, Threat Management and Forensics.  She and her team are also responsible for mitigating and decreasing persistent fraud threats from Eastern European entities which consistently target the company and its customers.

Prior to joining AutoTrader.com, Linda worked as a security analyst and security engineer at EarthLink, Inc. (a national ISP).  She has been in IT for over 12 years with the past eight years focused on Security, Risk, Phishing and Fraud Prevention.  She has participated in several industry working groups including the NCFTA (National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance: Digital Phish Net and R-Auc working group), and Microsoft's GIAIS program (Global Infrastructure Alliance for Internet Safety).

Melanie Morris: Cox Enterprises

Melanie has over two decades experience in information security, networking/systems integration, nationally and internationally. She is currently the Senior Manager of Risk and Information Security for Cox Enterprises, Inc.

Prior to joining the Cox organization, Melanie worked for merchant energy and investment management organization and as a senior-level security consultant in the US and Europe. Throughout her 20+ years in Information Technology she has assembled an extensive background in information security governance, security engineering, networking, and server engineering. She has completed numerous professional certification programs, including CISSP, ISSAP, HISP, and CISM/A.

Melanie holds the following CISSP (2011), ITIL Foundation Certification (2004), MCSE (2003), A+, Net+ (2002)
Pre-Med undergraduate studies - (University of Manitoba, Canada, 1989-1991)

In the realm of application security, Tony is a threat modeling evangelist and has provided numerous talks domestically and globally on its many benefits and application.  He has served as a guest mentor to teams participating in Kennesaw State University’s annual Cybercrime capture the flag event as well as a Cybercrime speaker for Southern Polytechnic University in Atlanta (2009).  He has also served as a guest speaker on the subject of application threat modeling during ISACA’s annual Geek Week event and has also served as a keynote speaker on the subject for ISACA’s Global Symposium web cast series.  Additional articles include articles related to CoBIT and the ValIT model (ISACA’s Journal), application threat modeling within the SDLC (InSecureMagazine), and security process engineering for a ROSI (return on security investment) (Journal of Finance).  He’s currently finalizing a book with Wiley Life Sciences on the Process for Attack Simulation and Threat Analysis due out in 2012.

Tony currently leads an Atlanta based security consulting firm that provides a hybrid approach to InfoSec by maintaining strong duality and expertise across both AppSec and GRC.  He has consulted numerous global Fortune 500s organizations in both the private and public sector across a myriad of security disciplines ranging from security architecture and design to secure application development.
