MSP/VMS combo brings order to a complex organization who spend thirty-nine million dollars in IT contracts.

In short, a management headache.

With 13,000 employees, multiple Federal contracts and an award-winning IT infrastructure, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina relies on nearly 400 IT contractors to support its internal IT professionals. This is about 25 percent of Blue Cross’ IT workforce.

AITP Atlanta to Partner with Local Corporations E-mail
Written by Lisa Duke

The Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) will be partnering with local corporations during 2007 to expose their workforce to information, training, and mentoring.

Information Technology is a fast-paced field, and often individuals within a large corporation loose their view of what is going on in the industry as they focus on day-to-day issues within their current job. This directly impacts the bottom line of the business when companies must then choose between paying for costly training or falling behind the competition.

In order to address this need, AITP Atlanta presents two speakers per month at their local chapter meetings.
