Omer Mutaqi

Omer Mutaqi is a successful business leader with over two decades of experience in the recruitment industry. He has worked his way up from a Head of Recruiting Department to Regional Manager, and later as Managing Director –East Coast at Horizon Staffing. With his vast experience, he has developed business understanding, a dedicated commitment to customer satisfaction, and a passion for finding qualified candidates for his clients. Omer has served organizations across the East Coast, mainly in the Aerospace, Medical Device, Energy, and Healthcare industries.

In 2011, Omer started MY HR with his wife as the Chief Operating Officer. He implemented internal processes, brought in new vendors, and effectively rolled out a social media marketing plan to grow the brand. Omer is committed to growing MY HR’s human resources outsourcing capabilities.

Post COVID, Omer started Buraq HR (Talent Acquisition MSP) and is currently serving as CEO. He is developing an internal diverse team of leaders throughout the USA to bring MY HR and Buraq HR to new heights. Omer is also serving as a board member at USPAACC-SE, AITP-Atlanta chapter, Marketing team chair at TAG DE&I, and monitor at SCORE-Atlanta, GA.
