Alan Stukalsky
As Managing Director of IT and CIO for Randstad, the world’s second largest provider of HR solutions and staffing, Alan is responsible for all information technology, including voice and data communications in the US. His primary areas of focus include all Internet customer and employee facing applications, PeopleSoft HR and pay/bill applications, JDE Financials, Hyperion reporting and various other third party applications. Alan oversees a staff of 60 internal employees and a budget of $15 million.
Prior to rejoining Randstad in 2009, Alan served as CIO of Church’s Chicken, a $1 billion quick service restaurant chain, where he led all aspects of information technology. Within the first year of joining Church’s Chicken, he outsourced the company’s entire IT infrastructure to India, which resulted in a $1 million per year reduction in the IT department’s budget and improved customer satisfaction levels by 25%.
Alan also served as Director of Global Applications for Randstad Staffing for three years, where he led a multi-million dollar implementation of PeopleSoft applications. Prior to Randstad, Alan worked with PeopleSoft Consulting in several roles, implementing technology solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Emory University. He is a member of the Georgia CIO Council, Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), and Techbridge.
Alan was the recipient of the Top Technology Award for Project Excellence at the 2009 Food Service Technology Conference, where he also delivered a speech on “ROI on Supply Chain Technology”. In 2007, he delivered a speech entitled “Knowledge is Power: The Benefits of Business Intelligence” at the Multi Unit Restaurant Technology Show, and a speech entitled “Self Service Technology” at Nation’s Restaurant News Conference.
Born in Argentina and raised in Miami, Alan enjoys playing soccer, football and spending time with his family.
Alan and his wife, Shana, have two children, Nessa and Ian. They reside in Dunwoody, GA, where they have lived for nine years.
