Chalcy Raja

Chalcy Raja, currently the Chief Technology Officer of Impact Capital Funds, has been a trailblazer in the area of big data, having worked as a data engineer, big data & analytics platform architect, data architect and strategist in various organizations since 2010. With more than 20 years in IT, she is known for creating high-performing teams using Agile/Lean development, automation and operational excellence, targeting faster deliverables, without compromising quality. She enjoys navigating uncharted territories. She previously coached technology teams at various companies and launched the Equifax Women in Big Data Forum where she volunteered to help women connect and grow. She has a Master’s degree in Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India and came to Louisiana Tech for a Doctoral program. She enjoys volunteering with non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Women in Big Data as technology Advisor and Year Up and is passionate about empowering women in data and technology. As a senior female leader in a male-dominated industry, she is dedicated to breaking barriers for women
