After completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Indiana University, he joined Kimberly-Clark Corporation as part of their leadership development program in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Jake spent 19 years with Kimberly-Clark and in that time played a variety of multi-functional key roles of increasing responsibility.  Jake began his tenure at K-C responsible for North American Distribution systems and then accepted an expatriate assignment to London, England where he was responsible for developing pan-European business processes and implementing SAP Materials Management capabilities across Europe. Upon his return from Europe, he led North American SAP projects to deliver ERP capabilities across North America, Honduras, and Slovakia.  Seeking robust experience working with the world’s largest retailer, he relocated to Bentonville, AR to partner with Wal-Mart to drive new, strategic IT capabilities at their Worldwide Headquarters.  Jake then relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa to lead the redesign and construction of the Sub-Saharan Africa IT organization, inclusive of IT applications, infrastructure, development, and support teams.  Upon his return from Africa, he was appointed CIO of Kimberly-Clark’s Latin American business in Central and South America.

In Jake’s current role, he is the Chief Information Officer for Design Group, the world’s largest producer of gift packaging, with a rich history in producing paper, décor, creative play, and dated goods products enjoyed by millions of customers around the world.

Based in Atlanta, Jake cherishes time away from the office being Dad to four boys ages 13/9/9/6.  He enjoys training for Ironman triathlons, playing basketball, and coaching his boys’ basketball/baseball/football teams.
