John Dunbar

John has over 20 years of experience as a senior technology leader in a broad variety of industries.  He specializes in strategic planning, process improvement, and leading successful teams to provide valuable technology solutions for business.  John is currently the CIO for Atlantic American Corporation, a publicly traded holding company with three subsidiaries involved in well-defined specialty markets of the life, health, property and casualty insurance industries.  John joined Atlantic American in 2012.  He is responsible for setting the information technology vision for the corporation, including the planning, development, implementation, and management of all IT systems.  Prior to joining Atlantic American, John served as CIO and Vice President of IT for Aquilex Corporation in Atlanta. Previously, he was with EMS Technologies and BTG Americas, Inc.
