Jun Ying

Jun Ying is Senior Vice President and CIO USIS, with responsibility for leading the company’s USIS IT strategy and execution, ensuring technology investments and product development are aligned with Equifax’s growth and innovation agenda. Based in Atlanta, he joined Equifax and the IT Leadership Team in January 2013 as International CIO. As a member of the International Senior Leadership Team, Jun had responsibilities for all aspect of IT and product development in 20 countries, including Australia, UK, Canada, Argentina, India, amongst others.

Jun is an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for technology driven innovation, blending his deep hands-on technical expertise and successful business experience. He was EVP & Regional Chief Information Officer at ING Insurance Asia/Pacific in Hong Kong, bringing together 9 countries into an optimized technology organization. Jun was also SVP and Head of Corporate Applications at ING US, where he was responsible for IT for all corporate functions such as Finance, Marketing, Risk and HR.

Prior to ING, Jun was Global IT Director, Web Platform at The Coca-Cola Company. In particular, Jun led the development of Coca-Cola’s digital marketing platform and numerous award winning online properties, many in partnership with firms such as Facebook.

Before joining Coca Cola, Jun founded and successfully grew Meritsoft, Inc, a technology consulting firm. He helped companies like General Electric and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line envision and build next generation platforms for an increasingly online customer base. Jun also started a subsidiary of Meritsoft in Wuhan, China, providing offshore IT development. Jun started his career at Delta Airlines and was an early employee at WebLogic, Inc., now part of Oracle Corporation.

Jun received a B.S. in Physics from Georgia Tech, as well as an MBA from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and two young children. He serves on the
