Leslie McBride is manager of employee communications for AutoTrader Group. She and her Shared Services team support communication needs across all of ATG and manage the strategies, vehicles and best practices used to reach its various audiences. Using a consultative approach with leaders and internal clients, they provide employees with the information they need to not only do their jobs, but also be highly engaged members of the company. In addition, Leslie serves as the editor in chief of @Home, ATG’s employee magazine.
Previously, Leslie worked at Newell Rubbermaid, where she oversaw the development, launch and management of the company’s first global intranet and a new corporate website. She played a key role in developing more frequent, consistent companywide communications, including a year-long engagement campaign that won a PRSA Silver Anvil, PRSA Georgia Phoenix Award and IABC Atlanta Golden Flame. Prior to joining Newell Rubbermaid, Leslie crafted print and digital messages for trade, professional and consumer audiences as a freelancer for Kleber & Associates, Global Exec Women, MommyTalk.com and Richman Media Group, among others.
