Margaret Wright

Margaret Wright is currently an Applications Technology Manager for Southern Company in Atlanta, Georgia.  Southern Company is the premier energy company serving the Southeast through its subsidiaries.

Ms. Wright has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology field with a strong results record in shaping strategy and developing clear visions, managing software development projects and teams, and managing strategic alliances with software vendors.

Ms. Wright has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.  She is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, Women in Business & Technology, and the President of the Oracle Applications Users Group.
