Sam Franklin
Dr. Samuel Franklin is an experienced Big Data analytics leader with expertise in statistics, machine learning, and consumer psychology. Sam earned his B.S.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and continued on to Columbia University where he earned an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology with a research concentration in behavioral finance. As Vice President of Data Science, Dr. Franklin leads a talented team of analytics professionals developing advanced solutions for Fortune 500 clients at 360i, which has been a Top 3 agency on Ad Age’s prestigious A-List since 2013. Prior to joining 360i, Sam served as a Principal Analytical Lead for Retail at Google, and he was awarded a Presidential Management Fellowship with the U.S. Treasury Department.
Outside the office Sam teaches graduate and executive education seminars on data science for both Emory University and Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. Recently, he was a featured speaker at the eMetrics Summit in San Francisco and the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute’s (SAMSI) conference on high-performance data analysis.
Dr. Franklin currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia’s Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed). He is also active in Atlanta’s technology start-up community.
